How tightly we can hold
our thoughts,
our beliefs,
our fears,
so sure that our
negative view
of the world
is the truth,
is reality.
and yet we can catch ourselves
and STOP
and BREATHE
and REFRAME what is happening
to focus on what’s gone well,
what we’re grateful for,
what is right in our world,
then there is space,
new space,
that brings new views
around our thoughts,
our beliefs,
our fears
and often we find a new way forward.
All it takes is to STOP,
to BREATHE,
to find space,
so easy and yet so hard to remember to DO!
